Welcome once more to The House of God Discipleship Training, the place to view the art of the Artist Joan Dance while going over the Structure of the House of God made from the scriptures to explain the Word of God to the Disciple of Christ using the images shown in the House of God.
In the image we see an Angel in the atmosphere looking straight ahead with his hands and feet crossed. He is not engaged in talk but he appears to be engaged in thought. We are advised to think on certain things to hold our minds on the correct thoughts and to have them not stray from things that should be thought through. We are admonished to think on these things. The rooms of the House of God are divided into these things to be though upon.
The rooms of the House of God are, Truth, Honesty, Justice, Purity, Love, a Good Report, Virtue, and Praise.
Truth is defined by the scripture as the Word of God.
Honesty is made known by the passage in the scriptures where the honest man was sought to deliver an offering to the church in Jerusalem from the seven churches. The honest man was the one that could be trusted with the money.
Justice is depicted as us reaping what it is that we sow.
Purity is doing good while looking good doing it.
Love is many faceted and begins with patience. It is then kind and doesn’t envy. Love is also humble and is not rude, is unselfish, and thinks no evil, rejoices not in iniquity but rejoices in the truth, bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things, love never fails.
A good report is a Godly report and is associated with the report of the spies of Moses that were sent to spy out the land before coming into the promised land. The good report mirrored the things that God said and the evil report did not mirror the things that God said.
Virtue is the result of doing things God’s way.
Praise is what we owe God for His Majesty, His Glory, His Excellence, His Greatness, His Holiness, His Wisdom and His Power. His Goodness, His Mercy, His Loving Kindness and Truth, His Faithfulness and Truth, His Salvation, His Wonderful Works, His Consolation, His Judgment, His Council, The fulfilment of His Promises, The Pardon of sin, Spiritual Health, His Constant Preservation, Deliverance, Protection, Answering of Prayer, The Hope of Glory, All Spiritual Blessings, All Temporal Blessings, The Continuance of Blessings, Day by Day, Day After Day, Forever and ever.
