Welcome to The House of God Discipleship Training featuring the Paintings of the Artist Joan Dance. On today we have for your viewing pleasure a woman weaving a quilt. The beautiful pattern stretches from earth to sky. She seems pleased to have made so handsome a contribution. In the same way the Lord gives us the Works of the Word of God. From Salvation to Prosperity they have the ability to do work. They walk the believer from Salvation to Personal Prosperity, The Lord God walks us through from start to finish. He that began a good work in us has the ability to complete that which He began.
The roof consists of Salvation, Being Born Again, Teaching and Training, Guidance and Council, Revival, Restoration, Nourishment, Warning, and Rewarding, Judgment, Sanctification, Freeing, Enriching, Protection, Strengthening, Making Wise, Rejoicing the Heart, and Prospering.
These subjects are known as the “Works of the Word of God. These Works are the results of the Word of God having efficacy or the ability to do work. On the House of God, they form the Roof of the House. It can be said that when the Lord God looks down on the House of God that He sees His Works. These Works walk the disciple of Christ from Salvation to Prosperity.
Some would say that Prosperity appears fully developed but from the progression of these Works of the Lord Gods Word the arrival at prosperity happens when the works have been worked through. The new disciple begins at the beginning and progresses onward to the completion, and that completion is the arrival at prosperity.
It can be said that the new disciple begins at the salvation experience and progresses onward to Teaching and Training from which comes Guidance and Council from the assimilation of the teaching and training. The guidance and council come from the Holy Spirit bringing back to the disciple’s memory the things internalized from the Teaching and Training.
The New disciple then is Revived or brought back to life, Restored, or is then experiencing the restoration of the things that God has put in the disciple.
The New Disciple is then nourished by the Word of God.
It never fails that when the new disciple is nourished by the word of God that the disciple becomes somewhat snippy. This snippiness is the natural result of the receiving of the good food of the Word, and the recipient’s reaction to receiving that good food. The new disciple is then Judged by the Word of God. That judgment results in Sanctification since the new disciple loves the Lord God, the good food of the Word just made the new disciple snippy.
The new disciple is then freed from sin as a result of the judgement. It has been said that who the Lord sets free is free indeed.
The new disciple is then open to Warning and Rewarding from the Word of God. At this time the Word of God provides Enrichment. The Word of God can give the new disciple enrichment at this time because the new disciple can now handle the riches of God without wasting the Lord Gods provisions on the things of the world.
It is at this time in the development of the disciple, possessing enrichment, that the disciple finds that there is need of the Protection of the Lord God and the Word of God provides this protection.
The disciple is next Strengthened by the Word of God and can now protect ones self.
The word of God now at this time provides the new disciple with Wisdom. The disciple must ask the Lord God for this Wisdom, but it is said that the Lord God will at this time “law it on thick,” and will provide the new disciple with not only wisdom but also with Discernment or the ability to Discern Good from Evil.
The Word of God now Rejoices the Heart, since the world didn’t give the joy; the world cannot take it away.
Lastly the Word of God provides Prosperity. This Godly Prosperity has no strings attached and is free and clear from any adverse side effects.
